In the winter of 2015 I started reading 'The Noble Approach', an amazing guide for illustrators and animators by the incomparable artist Maurice Noble. His approach to color inspired these pieces, as well as my obvious love for Star Wars. I came at this three piece series with one color palette and I love the unity it provides throughout. This was also a great exercise in character design and form language; creating fresh ways of depicting these classic characters.
